About Aaron Rosland
Over the course of my 25-year career across 25 countries and multiple sectors, I noticed two critical gaps holding individuals and organizations back. I started Rosland Growth Advisory to fill those gaps and make a positive, lasting impact.
Fractional Diplomacy
Governments, agencies, and companies need international expertise but often face constraints—whether financial, structural, or capacity-related. I bridge this gap by offering commercial diplomacy services—export promotion, investment attraction, and international relations—on a flexible, on-demand basis.
Over the course of 25 years and across 25 countries, I’ve led high-impact initiatives in multiple sectors and industries:
As a Canadian Diplomat to India, Ireland, and the U.K., I provided in-country representation, media relations, stakeholder engagement, opportunity identification, lead generation, and network building. I also worked closely with and provided strategic advice to Ministers, municipal leaders and CEOs looking to capitalize on international opportunities.
Spearheading the $15.8 million expansion of a Canadian Government project, opening and managing offices in 23 countries while leading remote, cross-cultural teams and overseeing significant project growth.
For Provincial Governments, I led export promotion, investment attraction (FDI), international relations, and immigration programs across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
For these efforts, I was recognized with:
A place in the U.S. State Department’s International Leadership Program
The High Commissioner’s Award from Canada’s High Commissioner to the UK.
My expertise is complemented by a Master of Business Administration (International Business), a Bachelor of Arts (History & French), and a Certificate in Economic Development.
Executive Coaching
Throughout my life and career, I’ve experienced growth, transition, and transformation firsthand. I faced many pivotal career moments and life changes, usually with little guidance or support. Each place I lived, each role I held, was an external journey of adventure intertwined with an inner journey of resilience and transformation.
Through these experiences, I refined a process for personal and professional growth that I now use to help others. My aim is offer who and what I am to walk alongside them as they navigate challenges, regain clarity, and unlock their potential.
What sets my coaching apart is the depth and diversity of my lived experience:
Diplomacy cultivated multi-faceted leadership expertise, sharpened my ability to see what lies beneath the surface and highlighted diverse cultural perspectives.
As a Pastor, I counselled people, explored purpose and helped to synthesize and simplify the deeper dimensions of life.
Becoming a Fitness Coach taught me how to harness intention, discipline, and resilience for strength of mind, body, and spirit.
Achieving Financial Independence reinforced the value of goal-setting and balancing freedom with structure.
Navigating Transitions—across countries, careers, and life stages—taught me how to build resilience, create roots, and live from a stable center.
I have a Master’s degree in Ministry, but my “certification” as an Executive Coach is a fully lived life and career —embracing growth, transformation, and leadership impact. Now, I’m here to help you do the same.
If you’re ready to break through barriers, regain clarity, and reframe your perspective for a more impactful and fulfilling career and life, I’d be delighted to guide you on your journey.
