Fractional Diplomacy
Working across 23 countries over 25 years in a variety of roles and projects I’ve cultivated unique international expertise. As a diplomat, I lived, worked and dug in deep in foreign countries. I led export promotion, investment attraction, science and technology engagement, and international relations initiatives. This included cultivating networks, generating leads, gathering intelligence and identifying opportunities to capitalize on commercial opportunities. I also created market expansion strategies, opened and led international offices, and built the export promotion, investment attraction, and international relations capacity of teams to help leaders and organizations operate in their optimal state.
Leaders from across governments, agencies and companies told me they need this expertise, but don’t have the resources to bring it on full time. So, I left Diplomacy to start my Fractional Diplomacy Practice. This empowers a variety of organizations to access commercial and international diplomatic acumen on an as needed basis and without a full-time financial commitment.
Fractional Diplomacy moves stalled international projects forward and off leaders’ desks through PROJECT ADVANCEMENT. Fractional Diplomacy builds the international capacity of teams for enhanced results through PERFORMANCE COACHING.
As your Fractional Diplomat, I’ll work with you to take your international project, team, and organization to the next level.

Project Advancement
Many executives have an international project stalled on the corner of their desk, but can’t move it forward due to capacity or resource constraints.
As the senior diplomatic representative based in foreign countries, I was trusted to advance exports, attract investment, and lead international relations.
Diverse leaders and organizations now benefit from my international acumen without a full-time commitment. I offer this international acumen on a fractional basis - short-term or part-time - similar to fractional CFO/CEO.
I work alongside leaders to structure the project and then I take over, deploying project management expertise and working to measurable outcomes. The projects I work on are varied, but include export promotion, investment attraction (FDI), network building, intelligence gathering, opportunity identification, client coaching, and strategy development.
Projects move forward and leaders are freed to focus on their leadership.

Performance Coaching
Many executives know their teams need support to enhance their skills and performance, but they lack the time or expertise to coach them themselves.
Having opened 23 international offices, managed multiple teams and been the senior-most diplomat in a network of offices, I know how to draw the best out of international teams.
One of the key issues I’ve noticed is the information-implementation gap. Many employees have a lot of information which has been given through training. However, they struggle with how to apply in their work. I fix that.
I take employees, individually and as a group, through my seven step process. This includes: co-creating a vision and mission for each employee, drawing out their strengths, addressing challenges/issues, refining their strategy, explore working with stakeholders, and working together to execute a project.
Employees will be inspired and impactful at the end of our time together.
